Warranty Certificate

GREAT ANNEXE CO ABN 53 049 688 541 (Supplier) offers the following warranty in relation to its products it supplies directly or through an authorised manufacturer, dealer or approved service repair agent.

Congratulations
You have made an excellent choice of this quality product. Our commitment to quality also includes our service. Should you, contrary to
expectations, experience defects due to manufacturing faults, GREAT ANNEXE CO will provide you with a warranty against defects as
follows:

Warranty

Our Annexe products are guaranteed:

to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of
up to 10 years from the date of purchase depending on the
specific product. The specific warranty period for the Designer
Annexe Range is 10 years, and the Storm Shadez Range is 5
years.
Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use
and care, will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our
discretion.

Our Vinyl products are guaranteed:

to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of
up to 5 years from the date of purchase.
Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use
and care, will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our
discretion.

Under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), certain conditions and warranties may be implied in any sales terms and there are rights and remedies conferred on customers in relation to the provision of goods which cannot be excluded, restricted or modi fied by agreement (Non-excludable Rights). We disclaim all conditions and warranties expressed or implied, and all rights and remedies conferred on customers, by statute, common law, equity, trade, custom or usage or otherwise and all those conditions and warranties and all those rights and remedies are excluded, other than any Non-excludable Rights.
Our liability for breach of any Non-excludable Rights is limited (to the extent permitted by law) at our discretion to:
  • replacing the Products or supplying equivalent Products; or
  • paying the cost of replacing the Products or sourcing equivalent Products
Where the Products supplied are subject to a third-party manufacturer’s warranty, Great Annexe Co does not, itself, make any representations or warranties in relation to those parts of the Products and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising as a result of any breach of any manufacturer’s warranty

Proof of Purchase
This warranty is valid for the original purchase and is not transferable. Please keep your purchase docket, tax invoice or re ceipt as the
best proof of purchase, and as proof of date on which the purchase was made.

Extent of Warranty
This warranty is limited to defects in workmanship or parts. All defective products or parts may be either repaired or replaced. This
warranty does not cover normal wear and tear to the products or parts. This warranty is void if the product is modified or altered in any
way by a non-approved third party..

We are not liable for any damage, injury (including personal injury or death) or loss (including consequential loss and lost profits ) arising directly or indirectly from:
  • the supply of any Products to the customer; and
  • any use, assembly, installation, fitting, maintenance of the Products (or any failure to do so properly) by the customer.
We are not liable for:
  • any costs associated with the removal of the relevant Products from which they have been installed; nor
  • any costs of installation of any replacement Products.
Exclusions This warranty does not cover:
  • Any defects caused by an accident, neglect, misuse, abuse, improper Installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, use of non- approved cleaning products. unauthorised modification, loss of parts, tampering or attempted repair by a person not authorised by the distributor.
  • In respect of Annexe products, tension marks or folding ripples.
  • In respect of Vinyl products, tension mark ripples.
  • Any product that has not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with the standard operating instructions of the product.
  • If the alleged damage to fabric has been caused by storm, wind or rain, or stretching of fabric caused by water pooling on fabric.
  • If breakage or bending of hardware components has been caused by any natural event such as storm, wind or rain, or water pooling on fabric.
  • Any product that has been used for purposes other than domestic use.
  • Where the Product has been subject to abnormal conditions, Including environment, mould, mildew, temperature, high or excessive wind, water, fire, humidity, pressure, stress or similar.

If a defect in the goods appears within the specific product warranty period, you are entitled to make a claim under the terms of this

Please provide the original or a copy of the proof of purchase. Also please make sure you have included a detailed explanation of the problem with photographic evidence where applicable. Please note that the costs of making a warranty claim, including any return postage, will be covered by the supplier identified above upon the approval of the warranty claim. Please note upon approving your warranty claim, the supplier will send, via the post or email, a repair and refurbished goods or parts notice.
When making a return for an approved warranty claim, please ensure the product is properly packaged to ensure that no damage occurs to the product during transit. Great Annexe Co will not be responsible for any damage that occurs in transit. Please provide your email address and advise the supplier if you wish to obtain a repair and refurbished goods or parts notice via email.
